[68 VT]

So I got married last fall, promise new wife the Camaro I was building was the last one. The car I have is 85% done, all that's left is interior which I have, some exterioir trim and get some of the bugs out.

Winter comes get bored keep reading here, watching all car shows, start looking at classifieds. I look here, ebay, and countless other internet sites. I finally come across a 68 with a real good body car is stripped so I can see all the stuff you normally miss. Most of the parts that are missing I have do to the other cars rebuild, just looking to build a strong driver.

Tell the wife she frowns, show her the value of car through here, TV, ebay,etc. When I got last car from paint lots of people made good offers on my car also, and some very serious that watched me build it. She says OK, lets take a look and if it's as good as it sounds maybe. Well I buy car of course. Yeah!

When I bought car 8 years ago no one really cared about it in my area, mostly luxoury cars and imports. Fast forward, Camaros are a big deal. My commute to work is 5 miles basically on one street. On that street in the last weeks I've found two 69 Camaros, one 68 firebird, and I think a 66 or 67 chevelle or GTO was hard to see.

Now do I dare stop to ask for the 69 Camaros. I have to pass by every day. Temptations sets in, I don't know wife might leave. What would you do?

Brain hurts, confused, feel weak, cars draw me closer and closer. Does anyone else suffer from this?

i am constantly looking for project chevys, 37 chevy trucks, 66-67 novas, 67-69 camaros, 68-69 chevelles, even though i cant get one,....and once i find one cheap, i get all p/o i cant get it.....but i keep looking, it a vicious cycle....in ur case, sounds like you may get the thumbs up on another project, knock off 3k from the paying price when people ask...we wont tell
