For those of you that have bought the plastic front repro spoilers from Classic Industries and such, have any of you ever painted these? The flat black looks to plain to me. I'd like to spray it down with a nice coat of gloss black. Not sure if it will stick all that well. Any suggestions please advise. Thanks!

My spoiler came from NPD. It's probably the same as yours. I had it painted along with the rest of the car late last year. I also had the stripes continued on it. With about 4000 miles this year, it's holding up nicely and still looks good. Kevin

I use Stoner spray on mine and it stays nice....and it lets the bugs wipe off real easy. Then just respray it

You can use flexible bumper primer if you want it to turn out nice and stay that way. Auto paint stores sell it in a spray can for small areas on plastic bumpers.
Good luck |

If the paint is ever craked or chiped it might start to peel off or chiping. There is a new product out from ( Specialty Performance Procucuts) Plastic Adhesion Promoter S X 1050. I have Liter cause I use it on everything plastic. Works great, it burns itself into the plastic. Nice product, You can buy it in just a spray can and its the same stuff. You might need to go to a paint supply store.
