deal or no deal. Vortech blower!

My friend wants to sell me his vortech supercharger. It is polished and is set at 8psi. It is the blower itself without the mounting brackets or plumbing. No intercooler either. He said 600 bucks. Should i do it. Will not install for a while but is this a good deal or not?

also:
Vortech blowers need to be plumbed into the oil system right. what is the best way to do this and where can i get the belts, brackets, plumbing, etc for a SBC?

You better check into the price to get the rest of the parts. Often the brackets/pulleys/hardware separately are more money than the complete kit with the blower. Make sure before you pull the trigger on the deal.

As far as oiling they tee into an oil pressure port on the block for the feed line and then run a drain line back into the oil pan. You can get the exact specs from Vortech.

got the blower for 500 (1800 S-trim blower)

everything to mount it comes to 1k

not bad....
