Default Turbo 350 kickdown bracket

I have a Performer RPM intake manifold, Holley 670 Avenger carb and a stock kickdown bracket that mounts to the back 2 bolts on the manifold. When pulling the cable forward all the way after releasing the lock it stil seems to be about 1 1/4" too short. Is anyone using a different type of bracket or modifying the stock one to reach the carb pivot? Thanks

You might have the wrong cable - I believe there are several different ones.

You may be right. This one was in a box with a bunch of odds and ends. Hopefully someone will respond with the length they have that is working on the same type of setup.

I have a performer, with stock bracket, stock cable...had to bend the bottom bracket mounting tabs slightly, other that that its fine.

Hey Steptoe could you measure the length of your cable from the bracket to the end of the slot. Mine is too short even when the cable is pulled tight and the housing is pulled forward through the bracket as far as it will go. Maybe its for some other application.
