Default leaf springs

I Hav a set a leaf springs that came with a 12 bolt out of a 68 SS how can I tell if they are worn out, and can you get them re-shaped?

Default Re: leaf springs

Yes, they can be re-arched by a good spring shop if wanted.

I'd get a pair of old second leaf's and add them under each main leaf if I wanted them stiffer which I did!

BUT I installed the second and third leaf's in my new JCW, 3-leaf mono replacements so that they better matched my about 500 to 525 pound aftermarket coils in the front.

She set's high now so I need to drop her back down some in the rear, that or mount tires like my old great big L-60's are..
