Default Tree frog invasion

Anyone else have tree frogs? These little guys are all around my house. There's one on my kitchen window every night.

Unhappy Re: Tree frog invasion

Yes, Lovely little creatures imho!!

The thing here in central MO is that it is so darn hot and dry that I don't run across them very often AND I have spent the day watering everything!

We get a bunch of them in Oklahoma only when we have a wet summer...which we definately are not having this year. Cicada's, on the other hand, are more than plentiful. My cats love them...sounds like their eating potato chips when their crunching on them things

There are cicadas too. My dog runs off with them into the yard while they make that screeching sound.

Smile Re: Tree frog invasion

Travis,

We just saw a fresh Armadillo road kill this morning around Ashland, MO on Hwy 63 S.

I really hadn't thought the little buggers had come this far north yet!

I have tree frogs come around all the time on my back door...the light from the house attracts insects and they crawl up on the door and eat their fill...pretty cool little creatures.

We are starting to get a LOT of them here. Up until about 10 years ago I had never seen a single armadillo in these parts. They are slowly but surely moving north.

I have seen two dead armadillos on the road this year for the first time in 33 years.
