Has anyone done a engine swap on a 90-92 camaro Rs with a 305 tbi to a 350 tbi. I live in california and was considering a zz4 gm crate but i dont think it will pass smog? can i use the z28's 350 from that year minus the tpi? Any tech help would be nice. I also will probably be upgrading to edelbrocks efi setup. thanks.

[Suprising RS]

Hi, my brother and I put a new GM crate universal 350 TBI in our white 90' RS in 1998 after blowing our 305. We opened it up with Edlebrock headers, 3" coverter, 3" pipe, 3" flowmasters, hypertech chip, accel stuff, K&N, rebuilt transmission and we have no problem with inspection in Jersey. If you want to have fun and street race the 350 is the way to go! Write back with any questions.
