I have been asked to make an offer on a big block Chevy that's been sitting in a friends garage for 15 years. I believe it is a 396/325 out of a 1969 Chevelle. I would put it in a Camaro.
Here is what I can read on the block: Stamped: 194315505 T1029JK Cast:194315505 HI PERF K PASS 5 00NV2 Rebuilt 15 years ago and only fired once for a minute. .060 over, steel crank, unknown heads, manifold, distributor, but not original. Engine came from a car in the SoCal area. I would think someone out there with a non matching 1969 Chevelle SS would like to have this engine. What should I offer? |
