I just bought a good set of the chrome channels that the roofrail weatherstrips go in for my 67. What is the adhesive material tht attaches it to the roof and where can I get it? The stuff almost looks like its made out of some type of foam. Also do you have any good tipsm on installing the channels themselves. I thought that they would just slip right in but so far I haven't had any luck getting them in.

Don't know about the adhesive type but if they are used, you might need to close the lower border a little so they fit tight. In my car I started from the rear part of the channel. Don't hit them with something hard cause they are fragile and bend easily.
