Default 1969 X77 Z28 Car - I have a lead on one, what it worth?

I am able to get an X77 Z28

the car does not ahve the 302 or 4 speed however it does have the disc brakes and 12 bolt, it will need a restoration, floor pans etc but isnt that bad

what should I pay

I have seen projects like you describe going for outrageous money. An easy X77 project, sans motor and tranny should fetch upward of $25K. If nicely done, the finished project will fetch $75K.

car has a drum brake front end now, doesnt have its motor or trans

it def is an X77 car needs quarters but nose, doors are good, floors mostly good

still has the original 12 bolt

what is it worth?

With out seeing it, I would say $15,000 or a little more. You will have $35-40,000 in it to do it right, assuming a lot of the work is done by you.

Standard for Z/28. He was asking if you though it originally had disk brakes since it has drums now. Check for the valve mounted on the frame rail under the driver door.

the car had been stripped this car, def is a z28 that was put back together ....with the wrong stuff

Specificly pictures of the Cowl Tag, floor shifter opening, rear axle codes and the firewall details ...
These and other body photos arre the only way others can give you a heads-up on the car and get closer to a real value.

Otherwise it's worth what you think it's worth - it's your money.
