When you say correct engine, does this imply that they are not born with items?

The engine is a correct date for a 4L car. Its not matching vin. All internals are correct, 1178, heads, manifold, correct date/code carb, etc....

Not a bad thing, I am looking forward to building the RS. From all I learned from Team Camaro and KevinW, on the first build, the RS should be a snap! But the question is whats a fair asking price. KevinW, you know the car, what do you think?

I'd say anywhere from 63,000.00 to 65,000.00
Thats my guess based on a matching non original block.
Hard to say without seeing.

IMO, that's a little high for a non-orginal motor/trans car. I would guess that mid 50's would be a fair price.

Don, I am too critical to set a realistic price. Cars that I thought were not worth X went for X+$$, especially Zs. So I am not qualified because my mind is still back in the 80s . But I can say the work you have done to the car is very good and the new owner will not be disappointed!

But if you want me to make a guess, from what the others have said and what I have seen, $47K to $55K is the ballpark. You could always spend a little $ and have Jerry critique it.

BTW, if you think setting up the 69 RS doors is a snap, more power to you!

Thanks for the information. Far more then I would have thought. Although probably less then what I have spend on the car by now. I might clean-up a few things and see what Jerry charges for an appraisal. And Kevin, I'm ready for those RS lights. I think I enjoy the build more then the drive.
Thanks again guys! You might see it in the sites "For Sale" soon.

If you had this car, you would ask 75k for it based on what you ask for your cars!

Judging by the current market for a non matching but vin correct car from what I've seen over the last year and a half $47K for a car in good shape would be on the high side, $40K to $45K would probably be closer. $55K is average for a good numbers matching Z28.
