Default Good deal on a L-78?

Hey guys I came across this L-78 while dreaming earlier today.

Seems like it is a pretty good price for what it is. Rare bench seat option. WHat do you guys think for 50K?

Wish I had the bills, that's all I have to say!

Damn nice car for $50K if it's a real L78 with its original engine. Engine compartment not super correct but that's not what counts. If you're serious about the car, give Jerry MacNeish a call and hire him to go inspect and authenticate it on your behalf--heck, he many even already know the car. Best few hundred bucks you ever spent.

Just read through that 6 page PY thread. Seems like a shady guy, several lawsuits against him.

Take a close look at this picture...very close..
http://www.sportscargallery.com/imag...pd_intdoor.jpg

Also look at this one. $50,000 dollars and the guy can't vacuum the interior out.....Look closely and you will see other issues as well.

Then extrapolate and you will have a pretty good idea what the underside of that car looks like.

For the love of god at least physically inspect the car before buying.

I wonder why they weren't in the photos on Ebay? That alone is kinda suspicious. I would like to see them. mailto:sbunn1@cox.net
