Default Early '69 Z value.....

Just out of plain old curiosity, I was wondering what a fair market value for the Z I just bought is. At times, I feel that I got a decent deal on it, but at other times, I feel that I may have overpaid because I was buying it from a good friend who I didn't want to try and pressure like I would have on a random seller. I also watch eBay, but some of the cars sold just don't make sense, some are high priced, some are low. It confuses me.

+ 10C 1969 model cowl tag, no X code, early Norwood car. VIN = 521XXX
+ Originally red with black stripes, now blue / white.
+ Originally a flat hood car, now has ZL2 cowl hood with no cowl induction hardware; just the hood.
+ Original "shorty" 1968 spoiler.
+ No gauge package. Only a speedo, fuel gauge and dummy lights.
+ Engine matches the car. 9N521XXX VI009DZ deck stamping, 3932386 block casting, J18 block casting date, H308 and I178 head casting dates on 3927186 castings with factory finned aluminum valve covers.
+ Engine was pulled apart 2 years ago for rings, bearings and valve seats. Still stock bore and stock journal size on the 1178 crank.
+ Has original intake, but not the original DZ 4053 carb; has a newer Holley 750.
+ 9N521XXX stamping on the M21. Does not have the original shifter with ball; has a straight Hurst shifter with white shift pattern indicator ball.
+ 12-bolt is not original. The BU numbers on the tube are not there; I can see a B, but the pumpkin casting is not correct for a '69 Camaro, it is for a '70-71 Nova/Chevelle/Firebird.
+ Hooker super comp full length ceramic coated headers with Year One chambered exhaust.
+ CAUTION fan sticker

There are a few spots in need of bodywork on the car, passengers drip rail by the rear side window is blistered, and a small blister below the far back window on the quarter panel seam. Around the drivers tailight has been reworked as well; there should be a raised ridge around the perimeter of the tailight; mine has the raised edge on the inner side of the light, but it fades to flat toward the outer edge of the quarter panel, indicating it has been worked in the past.
Odometer shows 77k, cannot document 77k, but the car looks unmolested and goes down the road straight with no rattles, shimmies or squeaks. Could very well be a 77k car.

Your thoughts and opinions are welcomed and appreciated.

30 - Mid 30's on ebay easy, IMHO. As long as the engine is real and not a restamp.
Of course you will get many emails that it is not a Z, small spoiler, no tach, no X code.

I have 11A 68 X77 with no tach. A tach was not a requirement according to JM's book.

Maybe 11A of 69? No X-Codes in 11A of 68. Tach was definately optional.

Rob, if it was an X77 car, did they all have it on the rear bulkhead? This is behind the seat on the passengers side, correct?

Sorry,
What I meant was that all of those things are OK. BUT, most ebay'ers think all Z's had those components, so you will get some emails.

11 D car here has a tach, short spoiler, flat hood. I think mid 30 is a respectable price but I think the market would pay allot more. Anything numbers mathing and correct is closer to 50. I hate the fact that these cars are worth this much. I paid $1750 for mine and $800 for the orig short block back in 1988 . I was 15

I drove the car all through high school,Chicago winters, power shifted all 4 gears, barked the tires in all 4 gears, And now I am fearfull of it gettin stolen our totaled. I miss the old days.

I pulled the rear seat out last night to find a yellow X7 on the metal framing for the seat.
