Default muncie 4 spd. M20

Hi, I recently picked up a Muncie 4 speed in a part trade for a car I sold. I do not really need it as my 67 has a Turbo 400. I am trying to figure out what it is worth, but I have seen everything from $350.00 - $900.00 so price shopping has not helped much. It looks to be in great shape. It shifts fine, there are no chipped gears, and the bearings feel great. The casting number on the case is 3851325. EXT. Housing # 3857584. Side cover # 3831707. The input shaft is a 10 spline, no rings. On top of the main case there is a stamped number 006511. I do not know what this number means. I would just like to get a fair price for it. Any help out there would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Rick

Around my neck of the woods a good M20/M21 muncie is worth $400-$500. Some ask more, some less.

The “325” case and “707” side cover are 1964-1965 parts. These early Muncie’s came with a 7/8” cluster pin and usually don’t sell for as much as the 1966 and up Muncie’s with the 1” cluster pin. The 3857584 tail housing is from a 1966-1970 Muncie with a passenger side speedometer drive.
