Default Front Grill Removal on 68

I'm trying to remove my grill on my 68 camaro. I removed all the bolts and can move it but there are metal tabs that it was originally bolted too (on the sides) that are keeping me from pulling it through the front.

If I try to push it back to get it angled so I can pull it out fo the front it hits the hood latch mechanism.

What's the easiest way to get it off? I'm hoping it's something easy!

Thanks in advance!

Ed

Nevermind... i just realized that the original one has tow pices of metal that are riveted to hold it on the sided. Since I'm going to need this for the repo, I just cut them off.
