New to site
I am new to the web site. My son and I have a 69 Camaro with a 467 inch BBC, 8-71 BDS blower 3% over, iron rectangular port Merlin heads, 2 - 750 double pumper Holley's, 8:1 JE pistons and a fairly mild Isky cam. We put in a 10 point cage, coil over shocks, back half, narrowed Dana 60 with 4.10 gears and Dutchman axels.
After about 4 1/2 years of on and off work, and two new babies (my grandchildren), we started it for the first time last weekend. It moved under its own power -- ok for only 20 feet or so back into the garage -- for the first time in over a year. The last time it moved under its own power was with a tired 396. It is a street car.
