My son is trying to find out what the standard rear end is on a 2001 Camaro Z28 with 3 to 1 gears. It HAS to be a GM 10 bolt rear end. Any info would be helpful. He thinks he has messed up the rear end on his car, and he is in Texas at Ft. Bliss. This car means the world to him. Please help, and Thanks!

GM 10 bolt, 7.625" ring gear.
If he has a manual trans, he has 3.42 gears in the rear end. An automatic can have 2.73 or 3.23 gears depending on how the car was ordered. |
