go to an autozone and ask if they have a tbi or tpi cleaning kit if they do buy and follow the directions that should fix the problem

When our Camaro did that, it turned out that the rad was shot and it needed to be replaced. But if you have a good mechanic friend, it shouldn't be too costly to replace.

But like everyone else said, it could be something else, so it's a good idea to have it checked out anyway.
