Default Silde-a-link traction bars

Has anyone used the slide-a-link traction bars? These are made by Comp Engineering. Just wondering if anyone has used them a first gen camaro? I am also looking at the Caltac bars. Any feed back would be appreciated.

About everybody and their brother has used them at one time or another. When set up properly, they work great. Better than slappers, IMO, when out-of-the-box.

I have them on my 69z28 350 4speed car. They work good. I can't say how they compare to caltracs but at my power level of about 375 horsepower they seem to work fine. I swapped out a set of compeng. jbolt traction bars and at my power level ther isn't much of a difference.

Imho, for the MONEY if they slap right under the middle of the bottom of the front spring eye's, you can't beat slappers!!

They hold cars way into the 10's..

But you do have to adjust them so you leave STRAIGHT!!
