Hi guys - I'm starting a LS1/6 speed into a 69 camaro project.
Before the engine/transmission goes into the car is there anyting I should change/check while its out. It's a 2002 Firebird LS1 with 70K on it. thanks

You need to cut the oilpan for clearance around the steering linkage.

Assuming he's using a stock subframe. If that is the case, and it's a F-Body LS motor, you'll need new accessory brackets. But again, that wont be a problem if you're running an aftermarket subframe.
