Lightbulb 95 Lt1

Anyone know the dyno numbers on a stock LT1?
The car is a 95 Camaro 6 speed.
If so any ideas after a cold air and cat back?

You can probally guess somewhere around 250 rwhp on a 95 stock lt1. If your car was built for CA then you are one of the luck few that got the dual cat setup which they say bumped up the horse another 5-10 I think.

I had a 95 TA out here in CA and had a borla catback and ram air intake setup and dynoed 269 rwhp and 302 rwtq.

Your probably right. I spoke with a owner of a 94 z28 claiming 275hp from the sticker at the dealership in that year. With power transfer to the rear wheels will result in loss of 15-20hp. Sitting on 255hp est. is still impressive with the torgue provided. My next question is that if a cold air intake and a cat.-back is claiming a 15-20 percent power increase, would that calculate to 15hp per 100hp? Roughly 37.5hp plus 255hp 292.5hp?

No -

As for your Z28's stock HP I think it was 285 from the factory, I'll verify that and post back if different... I believe the '96 Z28SS I had was 305 from the factory...

Just a follow up for you, in '94 the LT1 was advertised as 275 hp. In '96 it was 285 hp and 305 with the SS mods.

Dont know if they were enforced but car were being built special for CA in 1995.

1993-1995 LT1 f-body cars have one cat, with the exception being California Emissions (RPO NB6) A4 cars having two. All 1995 M6 cars have one cat.

Speaking from 1st hand experience ...

With my bone stock '95 Camaro Z28 with a 6 speed (no air filter, muffler, nothing, driven for 9 years and 140,000 miles with NO changes) ...

It put down 267 rwhp & 317 rwtq ... This is SAE #'s on a DynoJet

After ... building the 383 with a mild cam and working the stock heads ... The new results are in my Sig ...
