My water pump is starting to go. It looks like I will have plenty of space to R&R the water pump without taking the radiator out. Am I too optimistic, or should I plan to take the radiator out? Does anyone have some advise on how much of a hastle this will be, or how long it should take?
It is a 97 5 speed with a 3.8. Thanks |

I had the 5.7L engine so my setup was a little differnt then yours but I didnt remove the radiator when I swapped my WP out. Yes take off all the electric fans and everything else in your way to the pump and that should give you enough room to take the pump out. I did all my work from underneath the car as well.
