I have a 1984 berlinetta camaro. six months ago i put in a new tranny and just recently my flywheel broke. i put in a new flywheel and the put my car back together ever since my car has not started up again. I put a new distrubuter cap on and a rotor. I replaced the coil on top of distrubuter. I also by passed my ecu and still im not getting it to start . I know it is getting fire cause i have checked. I also had my starter checked and it was fine. Ne help would be appreciated.

Check for any wiring that may have been pinched between trans and engine block. Also check for any engine ground straps that may not of been reconnected. Also they have been known, while being unhooked for the computer to be reset.

Also try to recheck the firing order on the dis/cap. Make sure that it is 1,8,6,5,7,4,3,2 clockwise.
