Default What is this intake from...any idea?

I just picked up a GM aluminum intake for a small block & was wondering if anyone knew what it might be off of.
The casting # is:
14007378

Thankyou for your time...Tom

Tom...

I believe that intake manifold 14007378 is for a '79 L-82 corvette

Thanks,Keven.
Any idea if it's worth anything?
I might use it on a later project, but for now it's just in the way.

I think that's just a standard intake.....is it a spread bore? As we know, there wasn't much horsepower being produced from the factory in '79. I think most of the components back then were more about gas mileage and emissions than anything else. Probably would look good on the garage wall and that's about it.

Actauly the late 70s early 80s factory aluminum intakes flow better than the late 60s early 70s stuff.

The alum ones with EGR tend to warp the mating surface on the EGR side. Before you try to use it lay a straight edge along the mounting surface to the head to see if it's straight.

I am not sure if it's a spread bore or not...I'll havt to look at it tonight when I get home.I'll check for flatness too.
