I have a 67 camaro that had factory manual drum brakes! over the last few days i have been working on converting them over to power disc! i have a donor 68 camaro, however, its been converted too, its got single piston calipers! so anyways into the conversion i nowticed someone had "rigged" the bleeder screws in the calipers (retapped and used bolts!!!) so i went to the junk yard today and got 2 calipers off a 75 nova, they were exactly the same as the ones on the 68. the master/booster, ect were all replaced on my donor about 100 miles ago. i blead the brakes and i seem to be gettin a pretty good solid pedal however when driving they seem a little too "touchy" there is only a small portion of "active" pedal and if i push kinda firm on the pedal the car will brake very hard!!! almost too hard. my setup does have a "combo" valve i guess! its the valve that mounts below the master. i found an identical valve today at the wrecker on a 76 nova with power front discs!! can anyone help me to figure why my brakes are jus a little too "good"????thanks very much, you guys are a great help!

Did you put the booster pushrod in the lower hole in the prake pedal?
Are you using a 1 1/8' dia master cylinder?
You may have a bad combo valve.

yes, i have done this conversion before so i did move the pushrod down to the lower hole however im not sure on the size of the master and i was thinking the same as far as the combo valve being bad!! so it is a combo valve huh?
