I'm finishing off an 67 ss clone with the small block 350. My first question is in regards to the fender emblems for this vehicle. My research shows that the SS goes on the front of the fender and the camaro,350 and flag emblems follow on the rear as opposed to a big block which incorporated the flags and 396 into one emblem. My next question is in reference to the rear black-out treatment around the taillight housings. Is the correct color a flat and/or matte black? Any help greatly appreciated.

I believe it's flat black from the factory.

Bogboy, WAIT! I read last week that the black out treatment was for big block SS cars only. You may want to check up on that, but I'm almost positive that the blacked out area around the tail lights was only on the big block cars.

TRUE! - 67Gold. Only the Big Block cars in '67 had the black tail light panel.
