I am trying to drill holes and mount lower rocker molding on 68 rs/ss. I have a stencil kit for holes but I have a couple questions. What size holes are needed for aftermarket clips? Now for the dumb one. Ready? Which way does the molding go on the car? I think that the top is the narrower side of the molding. So if you were standing next to car and looked down, you would see the narrow side sticking out. Am i making sense to anyone? Any close up pictures would be appreciated. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
P.S. Any good red paint code numbers???

Hi kcs, I can only tell you that yes, that's the way the molding goes on. Little end up. I don't know the rest of the answers right now. The wife keeps talking to me and I can't do this and think. She's fighting for my attention with this site. You know, one of those deals.

I thought my wife was the only one who thought I spent too much time on this site! Hows that work? Back to the moulding.. I have the clips and I can just measure them to see what size bit I need. I would hate to screw it up. The car goes for paint in a week so if I do they can weld the holes up. Any help would still be appreciated! Thanks to all!!! p.s. still undecided about color ...
