I have a 69 with a 396 TH400 installed with headers. The crankcase vent from the valve covers is routed (without PCV valve) into the left header collector. At the collector is the air injection check valve assembly. The system seems to work well as there is always a vacuum at this point. My question is: has anyone else seen this installation and are there any issues with it? Other than looking strange. I am considering re-installing a PCV valve and putting it back into the intake, but am not sure.
