Out here in Texas, I have seen a fair amount of Z-10 coupes. Although I know they all must have the mandatory rs & ss options, it seems like most (all?) are also loaded with options like gauges, tilt, pw, and a lot with a/c. Is this everyone else's experience?

Most of the Z10s I have seen are optioned pretty well. I have seen a few that were not though. One was a column shift with standard interior,no console just your base car with the indy accent package. They came both ways but most I have seen were optioned well. I belong to the Oklahoma Classic Camaro Club and we currently have five Z10s in the club and a couple of Z11s.Everyone in the club jokes about renaming the club the Z10 club. All the Z10s in the club exept one have deluxe interior. one is an original 396/350HP with air cond. I think the cars were originaly promotional cars given to the dealers of select ereas. Not intended to be sold to the public as new. Although most were sold new.Im not stating this as a fact but just what I have heard from a couple of people who own Z10s. I have also heard there were only 283 Z10s built. That # suposedly came from a G.M employee who worked with the Z10.

a friend in college had one. It had white standard interior, tilt, a/c. He discovered it was a Z10 by accident, since someone had painted the orange stripes black!

Would you believe a '69 Pace Car coupe! Only about 200 or so made if I remember correctly. RSSS' like the ragtop, white with orange strips. They were not restricted to the orange interior. You would think these rare coupes would hold a high value but folks just don't seem to be interested in them!

Since lots of folks are not interested, someone please email me with a good deal on one. Like I said, I've seen my share, but only one of them could be bought at a reasonable price. I passed on it - DUH.

I have a Z-10 and mine has black standard interior with no a/c, no guages and no console. It has a 350 motor with manuel transmission.I have owned the car for twenty years and just found out that it was a Z-10 last year.

There were at least three Z10's at the Autorama in Houston this year. They seem to be popular in Texas.....

KeeJay and Jeremiah,
I'd be interested in some of the #'s off of these Z10's. The easiest way is via http://www.camaros.org/researchdata.shtml .
We have info on about 60 of them so far. I can also hook you up with the Z10 registry (Donna).

The guy whom I bought my '69SS has a Z-10, that's pretty nicely loaded. Texas no doubt. They are very rare as far as production numbers but I'll take a Z-11 anyday.

Question

So, Lemmme guess. A Z-10 is an RS/SS coupe and a Z-11 is an RS/SS converible?
