Question

my 67 R/S rear triangle windows, on the outside if I stick my nose against the glass I can look right down through the car and see the inside of the rear front 1/4 panel . I know this isnt right, what is the piece of whatever that goes in theirs name... I have the door jamb weatherstrip in place, but there is no weatherstripping on the lower half of the windows. , now I know the 68's had a chrome piece, but the 67 RS series did not. my Assy manual says its a front door window sealing strip, but I looked the part up and it looks to thin? is this the correct piece?

heres the link to the pic of my car with the piece in question on the rear triangle window.

chris,
are you talking about the window felt? the felt piece that screws onto the inside of the quarter panel on both sides of the window ?
you should have them, and a jamb piece that screws into the quarter panel in the door opening. i believe that's it.
later,
bruce

I think so , I found a piece of felt that was all corroded in the trunk. the metal was all rotted out. what is that part called so I can order it , or do I just say " hey i need that felt thing for the window"

I beleive what you are referring to is Window Felts more commonly reffered to as window fuzzies.
