Looking for a little help with a measurement . . .

1967 Camaro Fender Emblem - word "CAMARO".
The CAMARO Emblem has 3 "posts" that push into the fender for mounting.

My existing fender has 3 holes for this emblem.

Measuring along the peak of the fender rise the emblems' center hole sits 8 1/2" from the door/fender gap.
I have a junk yard fender that I am working on that shows this hole 10 5/8" from the door/fender gap.

Which one is correct? I am also installing the 396 flags under this emblem and want to make sure they sit right as they referance the center hole of the "Camaro" emblem.

Thanks for any help.

The 67 emblem was/is a rectangler emblem. The 68 is an emblem written in script, thus being larger in size. Therefore, I believe the 10 5/8 in hole would be for the 68 fender.

I may be corrected on this by someone else more proficient in this situation.
