Was wondering what your experience has been with the '67 reproduction tachometers. Seems like a cheap alternative to finding a used one which is way too costly anyway.

I'm with pipeman, I've never seen a repo yet. Didn't know they were being produced. (yet)

I've seen the reproduction tachometer listed in a number of camaro catalogs.

D&R Classic Automotive 800-472-6952,call '67
Camaro's & Classics 888-597-9002,$229 '67
Camaro Speciality 704-391-0261,$189 '69 tach
Ground Up 516-358-2277, $188 '69 tach

I agree with you Scooby, 67 repro tachs have been available at least since I got my 67 in 1994. However, I don't have an in dash stock tach in my car, so I can't offer you any advice on them.

I'm not making this up people. I've listed two catalog's above that sell '67 reproduction tachometers. The other two list '69 reproduction tachometers. I don't think I can be more specific than that... sheesh.

Scooby Doo,

Should be fine. Generally repro's are of good quality but like anything eles, its buyer be ware.

Remember that the diff between '67 and '68 was just the cover "dagmars" or rather how much the plastic stuck out. I think '67 was deeper then '68, thats all. pdq67

I believe ya scooby, just haven't seen them. Don't know why, my wife says I've always got my nose stuck in parts books. When I'm not here.

Scooby Doo, I see them in the catalogs too so I believe you but have you actually called one of those companies to see if you could really order one? I think they are coming but not available yet. The full repro quarters were listed in the catalogs for at least a year or more before they were actually available
