Anybody out there in camaro land have a right side rearview mirror for a 82 to 85 camaro? My wife's mirror won't stay put and I'm tired of changing the broken glass. GM doesn't stock these anymore. Any hints on keeping the thing from popping out, other than super glue?

Cool

Im not familiar with the newer camaros, but Classic Industries carries a R/H mirror (manual) for $77.18. and electric for $181.65.

If they carry them I'm pretty sure others do too. Hope this helps. Sean

I too am not real up on 3rd gens but I would think a salvage yard might be a good place to start... You might save a few bucks over Classic.

Is the mirror assembly falling off or is it just the glass?

If its just the glass, I suggest you contact a glass shop and request BURCO-RediCut or Yerger-NuMirror brand replacement mirrors. These are made of a special glass that is up to OE spec and, most importantly, absorbs light. A hand cut mirror reflects light and is typically not convex. They also have the silver backing on them. You can always tell these mirrors from the way they blind you when driving behind a car with them installed.

Adhesive - use a CLEAR waterproof silicone. All colors would bleed through.

Email me if you'd like any further info on this stuff.

Dan
