I have a question on my 406. I put the new dart heads, dart single plain intake, 390 gears, 750 holley, and a 292 comp. cam. I was woundering if I over camped my motor and if I will lose all of my low end. Please write back and tell me what you think.

I don't think so. I have the Comp Xtreme XE284 in my 383 and it's 284/292 and 240/[email protected] with now .540/.544 lift. And I drive it everyday. If you have a decent 3000 stall, you'll have a tire frying machine.

There is a guy in my town who has a 406 in an S10, and he is running a larger solid cam, and he runs low 11's and drives it everyday too. So I think you'll be very happy.

Kyle,

I have a step smaller comp cam (280) and wished i went a little bigger.but your set-up sounds very simular, and i'am looking at AFR Lightnings (235's,2.08I/1.60E)also i have a 4.10 rear going in (soon?).What kind of times you getting?
