Is there a conversion kit available for a power rack & pinion for first generation camaro's?

yes, the kits is called "Steeroids" I have spoken with them and the kit is about 895.00, if I remember correctly. Really a neat system. They have a web page, I'll try and find it for you.

Yes, actually there is, im going to order mine sum time this week, i dont know anyone else thats used it so i cant tell u how good it it, there is only one company that makes/sells it and its very pricy, however i think it will be worth it in the long run! check it out and let me know what u think

Thanks for the link guys lots of info on site, I wonder why a lot more people are'nt buying this product.Seems like the best way to go to get a good steer.

I'm by no means trying to say not to get it, but if I had not read this post https://www.camaros.net/forum/Forum7/HTML/000301.html I would probably own it by now. Mr. Pozzi is a very knowledgable man, and unfortunately for my tastes there does not seem that there has been a lot of research on how this setup will work.

I remember an article in Super Chevy a year or so ago, but didnt go into great detail about how well it might hold up. Just my two cents. Sean
