Since i did the brakes now itsa time for new steering linkage/tires! i checked the front end and it all worn! the pitman arm/idler/tie rods!! i already did the ball joints when i had the brakes off.
i have called around locally and everyone is telling me sum of the parts and diff. for 67/68 is this true? any good place to get the parts at a deceint price? i need pitman arm...idler arm....inner tie rods/outer tie rods! also does anyone have any experience tightning up the worm gear screw on a power box?

68 and 69 are the same. 67 is different.
The box is set straight ahead on it's tight spot-on center. You loosen the lock nut, tighten the allen screw clockwise lightly, and lock it down. If you tighten it too much it will cause the steering to stick in position instead of following the steering wheel. You will wind up zig zagging down the road, and it will feel terrible. Just take up the slack, and don't try to make up for a whole worn front end on one screw!

I got my complete fronte end rebuild kit from Performance Suspension Technology (PST) The stuff they sent was very good. Polygraphite bushings and everything. The cost was not to bad, I think I would have paid about the same in any parts house if not more. http://www.p-s-t.com
