Just saw a 12-bolt out of a '65 Imp for sale with a "four-bar setup for 4 control arms". what exactly does that mean and will it work in my '67 Camaro? Wondering how much modification would be necessary, and if it would be worth it. Thanks.
It would take a lot of work to get the rearend to adapt to a leaf spring car. The rear end is probably to wide also. 4 bar means 2 upper and 2 lower control arms. If you want a stronger rearend for less money than a 12 bolt. Your camaro's 10 bolt is a 8.2 and a 70 up nova is a 8.5. You will need to shorten your drive shaft but the housings are the same width.
