ive stripped my interior and am trying to remove the quarter windows so that i can replace them with new ones, yet i have not been able to physically get the glass out of the quarter pannel. the tracks and the winder are out, all thats left is the glass itself. how do i get this out? thanks
You need to remove the jamb U seal to get the glass out. After the seal has been removed, lift the glass towards the "up" position and then gently slide it forward.
The rollers will slide through the hole in the jamb. You may need to wiggle the glass in and out to get it free.....

Did that when I locked myself outa the Cavalier over at the train depot in KC with the engine running one night about 2:00am.
Took the daughter over to catch a train to NM and was sooo rattled about finding the darn place and not missing the train that I never even heard the car running.. Cost me $120.00!!! (I know, money I had saved for more speed parts, what a bummer).
Beat on that window 8 or 9 times before it broke!!! pdq67
