check that 8 close the first one in that 80140 number you gave .most likely a 3 . a 30140 carrier is a 3 series 12 bolt car unit .DAVE

Dave is right, it is a 3 series car unit. The numbers on it are EDB 30140. Did I miss something or are there no pinion gears inside the case? I know the cross shaft and retaining bolt are missing.

jimbird, I have a customer who needs a 8.2 unit. I'll see if he's interested and get back with you. I'm on the west side of Ky. so it would be a pretty good drive.
