Is it possible to get a set of electric motors to operate the headlight doors on a 69 Rally Sport? I am sick of this old vac system that never works. It work when I bought the car about 6mo ago but slowly stopped working alittle at a time and now nothing. I have 16lbs of vac at idle so I know that's not it.

Probably your actuators have had it. That is the most common problem.

I don't know of any "kit" to change them over....and the 1967 Electric system leaves much to be desired also....

Easy there steve, mine work fine. LOL
69racer, it would probably be easier to fix your vacumn system than go through the change over to electric.

Assuming the problem is the actuators and not a system problem, I'd pull them and put a lubricant (silicone?) in the vacuum holes and move the piston back and forth til it moved freer.
But if this problem got worse on both sides at the same time, I'd be looking at the switches/valves.
