I recently installed a 6AL, Pro Billet Dist., and Blaster Coil in my '68. The tach does not work when connected to the tach output on the MSD. MSD Tech Line said it should, but the guy I talked to also said there was no difference between current day GM tach's and mine. I find that hard to believe........Any thoughts or suggestions?

Go for MSD's Tach kit and install it IAW their instructions and should take care of the electrical fit.

I'd be sure to install points dist just to check operation of tach before conversion to make sure tach works.

I do like your wife's attitude on your car from a later post. Your training is going VERY well!

Thanks! As you probably know, it's a long hard training regimen. It tooks years of bass fishing, beer drinking, and hunting to convince her that my being home in the shop wasn't so bad after all......
