Question

Ok i have a 92 Camaro RS. 5.0V8. Im looking into buying a cowl hood. What type of air cleaing system do i need to buy along with the cowl hood and how does that air cleaner work? is there anything else i should worry about or get along with the cowl hood in order for it to be functional?

As far as I know the cowl hoods they make for your car are not functionable. They let the cool air in but I don't believe they make one that has a air cleaner that mates to it. I could be wrong and someone will correct me.

Most of the cowls for the 3rd gens are for looks and a little extra hood clearance. On mine, I ran two air filters instead of one.

Just remember though, that when it rains hard, the engine gets wet with a cowl.
