I have had my '69 Z28/RS for 4 years now and i would really like to get the headlamp doors working. I don't have any of the vacuum lines for it, but i do have all the other hardware. I was wondering if it would b cheaper to just buy vacuum line, and cut it to fit all myself and where i might be able to get a hold of the diagram for the vacuum lines. Also, were the headlight washers on all RS's in '69? Mine doesn't seem to have any trace of them, but then again, i don't know exactly what to look for.

thank you for any help

The hose kit is nice so that you can keep track of the hoses using the colored stripes but the instructions that come with it are wrong. Where it says to hook up the green hoses is where the red hoses go and vice versa.

the kit is not cheap, but if everything else is there and works, then $$$ for the kit will make it real nice. I had trouble with mine and a little trial and error and help from the members here it works great. Check with ground up they might sell the diagram for RS cars.
Good Luck

All '69 RS's had the headlight washers as part of the package. Look for an additional piece on the wiper motor/pump assembly and 2 chrome nozzles above each headlight...
