Just a quick question on about the console guages in my camaro. I have a 69 RS/Z28, and there is a black cylindrical plastic thing with some sort of circut in it. I assume it has something to do with the low fuel light on my under my tach or speedo, dont remember whitch at the moment. Just wondering if thats what its for, and it looks like its got maybe a socket on the other side, for a fuse? light bulb? maybe. I have never seen that light come on anyways, so any info would b apriciated, thanx.

That's the circuitry for the low fuel light, and no... no bulb goes in it; there is no connection, but yes it does look like a bulb should go in it. Why? youd have to ask a higher power than me...

Yes that is what it is for , you can get a repro low fuel sending unit from Ricks first Gen. For around 50.00 or so .I replaced mine last year.
