A white 67 camaro would have a black stripe in it standard configuration. The blue bumble bee stripe used on the 67 pace cars was a special order paint color. Other cars have the blue stripes, but were either part of the Pace Setters campaign or were added by dealers after delivery to look like the pace cars.

There may be a clue as to what color was used on the cowl tag. Post the VIN and codes off of the trim tag and someone will tell you if its there. Don't leave out any dashes, periods in the codes.

Black is the only color for this combo.

Too bad, because the blue looks way better. I own a 68 ragtop that was originally Ermine white. Mine has the medium blue interior.

When I was considering putting the original color back on, I looked up the info. Found it in a book (can't recall the name) and at the Camaro Research Group website. Here's the link:

Take a look.

I would agree, that based on the info provided on your trim tag that the stripe would be black. You do have some typos in the codes though, the ZEM should be 2EM, and the 49 on the fith line should be a 4P. If there was a non standard paint combination applied to the car there would be a dash (-) after the last grouop of options on the 5th line.

Anything is possible once the car arrived at the dealership, but the car didn't leave the factory with a blue stripe.

Wouldn't be the first car that the dealers modified to get it off of their lot. But the only info the trim tag, POP and other documentation would show you is how the car left the factory. If you had a window sticker, it would include any info about what the dealer added to it over the 13 months they had it, including the blue D91 stripe color.

No clear coats were used on Factory finish cars. The special paint code (O-1) 67 Pace Cars got a clear coat finish applied to them don't know about any other special paint coded cars though. The Festival Pace Cars actually had the clear coat applied over the door decals as well.
