Is the cross member for a PG and TH350 the same in a 69?

yes, they are the same, bolts right in to replace the powerglide

Yeh they are the same, the driver's side of the cross member has slotted holes, place the bolts in there first (using case 8 bolts with wachers, and a lock washer) and the bolt up the drivers side making sure everything lines up even the trans mount, before you tighten everything.
