I just bought a 1997 camaro convertible and I want to convert the 1997 lights to 1998 headlights. I am trying to find out how much it costs approx. and how hard it is to do(what it consists of)?? If anybody can shed some light I would really appreciate it. Also where do I go to find the cover for the convertible top when it is folded down, my cover is missing and how much do they cost?? I am looking for a tan or black, either would work.

You could try Yearone for the cover. They usually have anything you could want. as for converting the headlights, I had a buddy that tried that. I don't recommend it. It's a fairly lengthy and costly project. He finally called me to come help him put his old front back on the car. In my opinion it isn't worth it, but if you are daring enough, go for it man. I hope you have better luck than he did. The front end bolts up similar to the old one.......

Being a fairly new car the Chevy parts counter is you best place for parts... If you are looking used to save money try the junk yard. Folks crash these cars all the time.

As for the headlights, your looking at a major project with major costs!! Check out some of the aftermarket shops like RK Sports ot Next Generation by YearOne for inexpensive cover for your headlights...
