I've got 3 dampers 2 6" ones and an 8" that came on the stock 210hp 327. I'm running a 350 now should I switch to the 8" damper?

What exactly is the difference? I believe the flywheel I'm using was the stock one that went with the 8" one but who knows.

The engine isn't balanced just a stock 350.

first off the damper dose not balance a 350, that is done internaly, a 400 is x ternaly balanced. all it dose is dampen harmonic vibration and help's keep the motor from shaking to death.

i always use the bigest one that will fit the motor with the alt and such on it in the car.

most, not all, but most 350's use the 8" but i have seen the 7" and 6" on them too.

Yep balancing is the crank/rods/pistons.

So I should put the 8" one on then, I do notice it does shake when reving.
