Ok , I'm doing my headlight hoses this minute ! Is there a LEGIBLE pic anywhere ?

Is there a GOOD dang picture or diagram ANYWHERE that hasn't been copied 5000 times and is so unintelligable that it look like a kindergartener with one of those big fat pencils drew it ?

I've got the copy that came in the hose kit - Worse than any , can not be read or followed.

Same pic/line-art only a little better in the "Recognition guide" , no good either.

Same pic in Hoopers 69 Camaro - No good either.

Is there a freaking picture and easy to follow diagram that shows everything including check valves , filter , exact color of hoses , EXACT points of attachment at the valve on the cannister , etc ???

I can't believe after 33 years there isn't a perfect easy to follow drawing of this.

Thanks in advance anyone.

69 RS Convert. Yella / Yella Hound , 4 speed 350 A/C , ALMOST DUN.

****ALL aftermarket parts are junk.

I don't know about fast, but I have the assembly manual & I would be happy to scan the diagrams in there for you if you are interested. It might take a liitle while to dig through & find all of the right pics.

Thanks , I have an assembly manual also , same crappy pictures , you can't discern exactly what color hoses go where and where the valves and T's are.....just a bunch of lines that are supposed to look like something , but looks like a cartoon if you actually have/need to use it.

Dancamm , I appreciate that , really. But I think I'll fool with it a little bit more before I waste your time like that.

It's not like I can go drive it if I get 'em done tonight anyway. It's a total frame off and the top isn't on yet (next Wed.) and I haven't fired it yet. It's just frustrating when you're ready to get something done and some factory dummies couldn't draw readable diagrams and it holds you up or causes you to cut and place hoses wrong so you'll have to buy another kit to redo it after you compare it to a correct car.

Hmmm , sounds like the reason why the directions from the people who sell these crappy hose kits are absolutely worse than useless.

RSSS69conv,
Did you get the hoses figured out?
If so could you share your wisdom?
I have a 69 RS and am going to go through the same thing in one week.
I have an original RS with the two fluid solenoids (one for the wipers and one for the lights) but the original fluid nozzles, hoses, t fitting are all gone. I ordered all of the parts two days ago but don't even know where the nozzles screw in on the front end.

Thumbs up

Do a search on the headlights and you will find plenty of info to help you get them working.
