I am going to put a new cd player where the old am radio (dash already cut) went. Does anyone make a kit for this?

You will have to destroy the dash. De-value the car? I am thinking about it myself. This has been visited here before, do a search.

I pondered this same thought with my car. In the end I just put the stock radio back in and custom made a plexi-glass glove box to fit my stereo. Now, with the glovebox closed the stereo is hidden and when you drop the door a bright Panasonic DFX150U is staring you down. It turned out really cool, especially at night....

Cool

I saw a very cool place to put a CD player. It was in a Chevelle. The guy used an aftermarket tissue dispenser availble from any aftermarket supplier and mounted his CD player inside it!! The front folds down to load in a new box of tissue, but instead you load a CD. It was a very cool idea. I plan to use it someday myself. It even had a little tissue sticking out the top!! He said he did this for shows only as he did not want it to catch on fire.
